I feel I’ll have corrupted my sudoers file. At any price I can not use the sudo command (at all times hangs). I’ve learn different questions associated to this matter and tried to repair (going into Restoration mode for ex) however appears like I do not know what I am doing. Fairly positive I brought about the issue by utilizing chmod to grant permissions too broadly to a folder. This isn’t unusual apparently.
Working issues like sudo visudo or sudo lsof -i yield:
sudo: /non-public/and so forth/sudoers.d is world writable
This can be a model new macbook M3 btw. Was engaged on getting nginx going, however the certbot course of wrote the wretched file to a dir sudden by the directions I used to be following, and log revealed that permission was being denied to non-public/and so forth. Attempting to acquire permission there with Finder and Terminal is what brought about this.

my /non-public/and so forth folder’s permissions now appear to have been corrected, as per recommendation from Linc D under. However though invoking sudo not responds with sudoers.d is world writable, it now merely hangs. I feel the issue is now with the /and so forth/sudoers, however the permissions on /and so forth appear to be tousled. Appears to be like like this.
