In case your Gmail account doesn’t appear to be working correctly at the moment, you’re not alone.
The official standing dashboard for Google Workspace means that the problems started at round 5am Pacific on Saturday morning, with customers experiencing each “misclassification of emails of their inbox and extra spam warnings.”
For me, that meant my Main inbox was crammed with messages that will usually seem within the Promotions, Social, or Updates inboxes, and that spam warnings have been showing in emails from identified senders.
Different customers have complained on social media that “all of the spam goes on to my inbox” and that Gmail’s filters appear “immediately utterly busted.”
“We’re actively working to resolve the problem,” Google mentioned. “As at all times, we encourage customers to comply with customary finest practices when partaking with messages from unknown senders.”
TechCrunch has reached out to Google for added remark.
