Earthshine, shot on iPhone
At this level, some may think about it previous information that the Artemis II crew used iPhones to shoot images and movies throughout their mission across the Moon earlier this month.
However for astronomy fans, myself included, there’s no such factor as too many astronomy images and movies.
That mentioned, earlier at the moment, the NASA Artemis account on X shared a surprising video showcasing Earthshine from the Orion spacecraft.
Within the video, astronaut Christina Koch’s face is totally lit up, illuminated solely by daylight mirrored off Earth through the mission’s second flight day.
After just a few seconds, she flips the digital camera, revealing Earth outdoors the capsule, with the iPhone’s reflection faintly seen within the glass.
