Ali Hoshiar is a Senior Lecturer in Robotics on the College of Essex and Director of the Robotics for Below Millimetre Innovation (RUMI) Lab. He leads the EPSRC-funded ‘In-Goal’ undertaking and was awarded the college’s Greatest Interdisciplinary Analysis Award. His analysis focuses on microrobotics, tender robotics, and data-driven mechatronic methods for medical and agri-tech purposes. He additionally holds an MBA, including strategic and business perception to his technical work.
